Believe it or not, half of 2013 has come and gone. It’s OK. Take a deep breath. Think the first half of the year over. Now, let it go. Yesterday is gone, today is what you have and tomorrow is for now, a possibility.
With time coming and going so fast you owe it to God, yourself, and the world around you to seize the day—every day. Carpe Diem!
Let loose and live for the rest of 2013! Dream a new dream, laugh until you cry, conquer your fears, do during the weekday what you’d normally only do during the weekend! Live!
Get excited about the rest of 2013, not complacent. Not bored. Not discouraged.
Rejoice in the blessings you have already and let your hope for all your heart still desires fuel your joy and liveliness, today! After all, that is what you do when you’re expecting the best.
For the rest of 2013, keep at the forefront of your mind your identity in Christ Jesus and live to and for his glory. You are His beloved bride, his city that he has purposely placed and does not want hidden. So, arise and shine! The best is still to come!
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip. Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you. (Isaiah 60: 1-5)
