No matter what you are up against today, fear not (Isaiah 41:10). God’s faithful promises are your armor and protection (Psalm 91: 4). And his weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God and fully able to defeat strongholds (2nd Corinthians 10:4). So cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2nd Corinthians 10:5).
Remember, you do not wrestle with what you see, but rather what you do not see. For you wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) Therefore, clothe yourself in the full armor of God that you may be able to withstand evil days, and having done all, stand. (Ephesians 6:13)
Stand your ground with the belt of truth firmly fitted and the breastplate of righteousness rightly in place. (Ephesians 6:14) Stand with your shoes tightly hugging your feet, which carry Christ’s shalom that comes from the Good News, so that you are fully prepared. (Ephesians 6:15) In addition, stand holding up the shield of faith to stop and defeat the fiery arrows of the devil. And always put on salvation as your helmet, and keep at heart the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:17) Moreover, pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers, not only for yourself but also for all believers everywhere. (Ephesians 6: 18) As you know, your brothers and sisters in Christ throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of hardships that you are. (1st Peter 5:9) Yes, Satan roams around like a roaring lion looking for someone to destroy. (1st Peter 5:8) Nevertheless, remain self-controlled (1st Peter 5:8), submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
